TORRANCE —?“Rashomon” (1950), directed by Akira Kurosawa, will be screened on Sunday, Feb. 18, at 2 p.m. at Faith United Methodist Church, 2115 W. 182nd St. in Torrance.
In this Oscar-winning classic, the rape of a bride and the murder of her samurai husband are recalled from the perspectives of a bandit (Toshiro Mifune), the bride (Machiko Kyo), the samurai’s ghost (Takehiro Kanazawa) and a woodcutter (Takashi Shimura).
