Doris Miyasato (92) passed away peacefully on September 8, 2024, at her home in Carson, Calif. She was born June 2, 1932, in Waimea, Oahu. She was the sixth child of ten children born to Hatsuji and Masue Saito of Kumamoto, Japan. She retired in 2003 from the City of Carson after working 27 years in the Public Works Maintenance Dept.
Doris is predeceased by her husband, Yasunobu Larry Miyasato; and survived by her children, Miles and Mark Miyasato and Debbie (Steve) Nakamura; grandchildren, Jon and Jenna Nakamura; great-grandsons, Rylan, Robin, and Rowan Nakamura; also survived by siblings, Lead, Fumi, Hazel, Sarah (George), and nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held.
