Chinese toy company Pop Mart,????? ?????? ??????? ???? ?????? best known for its hit ip Labubu, is reportedly expanding into the home appliance industry. Job postings on Chinese recruitment platforms show that the company is hiring for positions including small appliance procurement manager, quality specialist and R&D engineer. Several listings specify experience with products like refrigerators, coffee makers, breakfast makers and electric kettles. The move follows Pop Mart’s recent foray into entertainment. Last week, the company announced the launch of a film studio and its first animated series, _Labubu and Friends_, with plans for a feature film in the future. Labubu is the first Pop Mart toy series to receive a standalone screen adaptation. According to business database Tianyancha, Pop Mart’s creative arm registered the script for _Labubu and Friends_ Season 1 on March 18, 2025, with an expected completion date of January 15.
