Daniel Alfredo Burleson, a 20-year-old from Iowa, was arrested on Friday for underage drinking and possession of a fictitious license after police found a fake Hawaiian ID with the name McLovin on it.
It's a reference to the 2007 movie Superbad — in an effort to lose their virginity before graduating high school, two bumbling teenagers use a fake ID for "McLovin" to buy alcohol for a party. The poorly made Hawaiian driver's license became an icon for fake IDs, and fans can buy recreations on Amazon for as low as $7.

An Iowa City police officer approached the 20-year-old in a bar and asked for his ID, which he refused to provide. Burleson was slurring and held a "beverage containing vodka," the Iowa City Press-Citizenreports. When the police took him out of the bar, he showed them his real ID, which showed that he was under 21.
But officers caught a glimpse of his fake Hawaiian ID, which listed McLovin's date of birth as Jun. 3, 1981.
Then the officers — who evidently haven't watched Superbad— had a dispatcher run a search of the fake ID. Obviously, it failed to turn up a result.
Burleson was charged with public intoxication, possession of alcohol while underage, and possession of a fictitious license, so he's probably Going Through It right now.
At least Seth Rogen, who started writing the Superbadscript when he was 13 years old, took notice.

Despite the charges, Burleson doesn't seem too bothered by the arrest. He looks perfectly content in his mugshot.
