Following the Black Ops 6 Season 4 update, real life videos of real brothers and sisters having sex the game has started advertising store bundles in the loadout customization screen, and players are furious with the feature.
Season 4 has arrived in Black Ops 6 and Warzone, bringing new weapons like the FFAR 1 and LC10, as well as Grief mode to Zombies. However, on top of all the exciting new content, it’s also come with some unwanted additions.
The update has caused some major performance issues across both games, with players repeatedly getting disconnected or seeing their FPS tank mid-match.

Since Season 4 began, if you go into your custom loadouts in either BO6 or Warzone and try to swap the primary, you’ll notice a small advert at the top of the list of Blueprints. These show a selection of bundles containing that gun, and selecting it takes you directly to the store page to buy it.

“Did they seriously add bundle ads to the weapon selection menu?” said one player on Reddit. “JFC it’s bad enough that this game already raised blackcell cost and hasn’t fixed any bugs at all that actually affect the majority of players.”

Plenty of other players were in agreement, with others arguing that they’d understand it in a free-to-play title like Warzone, but felt it was too much in a $70 game.
“Really? I have to see this shit now even in the loadouts,” said another angry Reddit post, while a comment added: “I wouldn’t even be mad if this was just in Warzone, a free game, but putting it in a pay-to-play premium title, with how expensive they’re getting? F**k off.”

“Anyone who wanted this bundle would’ve checked the store and bought it,” said another comment. “Putting it here isn’t gonna make more people buy it, it’s?just?annoying.”
Although it’s been reported that Call of Duty is dialling back on crossover skins over fears the series looks too “stupid,” it’s clear that bundles and in-game adverts are here to stay. Fans will be hoping it doesn’t become too intrusive, though, and Activision draws a line at promoting them in matches.
