During a Wednesday afternoon press gaggle, Press Secretary Sean Spicer addressed Trump's infamously meme-worthy midnight tweet, which simply read: "Despite the constant negative press covfefe."

One brave man got the chance to ask Sean Spicer the questions plaguing the minds of Americans, and though Spicer's answers were not very helpful, we are still grateful. Let's have a look at the beautiful exchange of words, shall we?
Reporter:"Do you think people should be concerned that the president posted a somewhat incoherent tweet last night and that it then stayed up for hours?"
Spicer:"Uh ... no."
Reporter:"Why did it stay up so long? Is no one watching this?"
Spicer:"No. I think the president and a small group of people know exactly what he meant."
*Reporters burst into laughter in the background while a single voice cries out, "WHAT IS COVFEFE?"*

Now from the sound of Spicer's cryptic explanation, "covfefe" sounds like some terrifying little secret code that Donald Trump and his squad have — like "the covfefe flies at midnight" or something. Great.
The internet pondered that scenario, but for whatever reason, people still have trouble accepting the fact that this isn't some elaborate scheme to cover up Trump being so awful at Twitter.
