Fewer and fewer people on their grids, and more users are gravitating towards Instagram Stories and Reels, so adding more ways to pull in engagement on Stories and Reels is probably a smart business move. The feature is still rolling out, so don't worry if you don't see it yet. If you do see it and want it turned off, you can do that by navigating to your settings and activity page, scrolling down to "how others can interact with you," clicking "comments," and turning the Stories setting on or off.
