PASADENA —?Come to the USC Pacific Asia Museum in Pasadena on krylowski sex videosSunday, March 16, at 2 p.m. for a stimulating dialogue investigating the art of survival in contemporary Japanese American literature featuring Gene Oishi, Traci Kato-Kiriyama, and Naomi Hirahara.
In “Fox Drum Bebop” (Kaya Press, April 2014), debut novelist Oishi follows young Japanese American Hiroshi Kono from his idyllic California childhood to his time in an Arizona internment camp, and beyond — illuminating how the trauma of war can shape a life. Oishi is also the author of “In Search of Hiroshi.”
He will be joined by poet Kato-Kiriyama, a Los Angeles native whose work explores location and loss. Both writers will be in conversation with novelist Hirahara, author of the Mas Arai mystery series and the forthcoming Officer Ellie Rush mystery series.
Free with admission to museum ($10 general, $7 student). Books will be available for purchase and signing. The museum is located at 46 N. Los Robles Ave.
