Any house labeled the "murder house" has to 100 percent be haunted. The Villisca Ax Murder House got its name from the murder of a family and two overnight guests. The murderer was never identified and apparently you can hear the whispers of the children who were killed. Um, no thanks.

The Eastern State Penitentiary became the first in the United States to implement solitary confinement. It once held notorious criminals like Al Capone, so this place was no joke. It is said the ghosts of inmates roam the prison and believe to have finally taken control. Let's pass on this one.
