The ?? ?? ??Romanian had been on GamerLegion's bench since January.
GamerLegion have announced the departure of Sebastian "?volt?" Malo?, bringing an end to the Romanian's two-year stint with the German organization.
The 23-year-old, who was benched in January to make way for Fredrik "?REZ?" Sterner, averaged a 1.00 rating over 264 maps with the team. He joined in July 2023 after Into the Breach's quarter-final run to the BLAST.tv Austin Major, and played his last match for GamerLegion at the Perfect World Shanghai Major in December.
Read more GamerLegion bench volt During his tenure with GamerLegion, volt also played at PGL Major Copenhagen, reached the quarter-finals of Gamers8 2023, first round of playoffs at ESL Pro League Season 19, and was one win away from making the bracket stage at IEM Cologne and IEM Sydney in 2023.
The team also won CCT Season 2 Europe Series 13 and placed second in the two series that preceded it, as well as finished 3-4th in CCT Global Finals 2024.
"I am LFT and incredibly motivated to grind to the top, with my eyes firmly set on the upcoming major in Budapest," volt said in a post on X. "With the exception of IGL, I'm open to all rifling roles.
"I've attended multiple Majors and S-Tier LANs - experience that I want to use to elevate my next team."
