Former NFL pro and tranny husband sex videosnow Oscar-winning director Matthew Cherry seems to have manifested his Academy Award win way back in 2012.
Cherry directed Hair Love, a wholesome and poignant story about a black father learning to style his daughter's hair as her mother recovers from an illness.
Eight years ago, Cherry tweeted, "I'm gonna be nominated for an Oscar one day. Already claiming it."

And it worked! On Sunday night, he and producer Karen Rupert Toliver took home the Academy Award for best animation short.
Cherry emphasized how important representation is for young black children, and brought attention to the Crown Act, a law that prohibits discrimination based on hair style and texture. Cherry brought DeAndre Arnold, a teenager who wasn't allowed to attend graduation without cutting his dreadlocks, to the awards ceremony.
"Hair Love was done because we wanted to see more representation in animation. We want to normalize black hair," Cherry said during his acceptance speech. "There is a very important issue that's out there. It's the Crown Act and if we can help this get passed in all 50 states, it'll help stories like DeAndre Arnold, who's our special guest tonight, stop happening."
Twitter users congratulated Cherry on the win, and on some very successful goal setting.
