I use it daily for music and checking the weather (very high-tech, I know). When my mom came to visit me last year, she became enamored by the Amazon device. She thought it was so cool and would fit perfectly in her kitchen.
So, during Black Friday 2023, I took advantage of a steep discount and bought an Echo Show 10 for my mom for her December birthday. She has, on multiple occasions, told me about a new feature she discovered or that she uploaded her photos to the device to cycle through during our regular phone calls.
Just this morning, she called me to ask me 1) what the device is called, and 2) if it's on sale for Prime Day. She has some friends visiting her for the week and apparently one of them is interested in an Echo Show 10 for herself.
Unfortunately, the 2024 Prime Day deal is not as great as the 2023 Black Friday deal — $50 off this year versus $90 off last year. However, my mom and I both swear by the device and would still recommend buying at the current Prime Day discount.
