Last week in London, Lady Gaga made a powerful announcement that she lives with from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) following her teenage sexual assault. Shortly after making the announcement, the singer penned an extremely personal letter on her Born This Way Foundation's website about how mental illness affects her daily life, and what steps she is taking to work through it.

"I come from a big military family," he said, "It angers me when celebrities start claiming 'PTSD' about everything to promote themselves."
He followed that initial tweet with several others, calling out Lady Gaga and Madonna specifically for claiming to have been raped and not pressing charges.

"No. Lady Gaga & Madonna have both made ALLEGATIONS of rape many years after the event," he wrote, "No police complaint, no charges, no court case."
Morgan, failing to recognize the painful stigma rape victims often suffer when coming forward about their attacks, continued his Twitter rant stating, "I don't think all claims of rape should be necessarily accepted as fact without proper criminal investigation," and that he fears the term 'PTSD' has "become the latest celebrity accessory."
Never one to take bullsh*t lying down, Mother Monster responded to Morgan's insensitive tweets on her own Twitter today.

"I've worked w[ith] our VP Joe Biden on helping education people about why women don't report," she wrote in a tweet addressed to the journalist, "Would love to share it w[ith] you some time.
Morgan, spotting Gaga's tweet responded, inviting her to an interview to debate the concept.

"OK, you're on," he wrote, "Let's do an interview about this & you can tell me why I'm wrong to be [skeptical]."
Gaga did not jump to accept his offer. Instead, she decided to school him a bit on PTSD.

"Would also love to talk with you about PTSD, that it's not just a 'military' disorder," she said, referring to Morgan's tweets from days before, "There is a mental health youth epidemic."

"I know numerous soldiers with PTSD," he wrote, "It's a very serious thing. I also know people who claim to have it but clearly don't. Let's talk."
Having finally had it with the fruitless Twitter conversation, Gaga agreed to the interview.

"Let's do that," she wrote, "[and] yes Mr. Morgan, I can handle [you]," she wrote, referring to a tweet Morgan sent to another follower regarding the interview where he asked her "Reckon you can handle me?"
"Su[r]prised you would question that," Gaga continued, "Was that the first question of our interview?"
Thrilled to get the confirmation, Morgan assured Gaga they had a deal and his people would contact hers.

"OK," he conceded, "If you're big enough to do this, I'm big enough to play fair too."
