The Being Mary Jane actress posted a supportive message to anchor Laura Warren after she was body shamed by a viewer for her outfit choice while being pregnant.
She applauded her for standing up to body shamers and even sent her a few outfits from her New York & Company line.

"Today's #WCW, Laura Warren, is another hardworking news anchor that I found who was subjected to body shamming...and in this case, pregnant body shaming!" she stated in the message.
The investigative reporter received comments about her outfits being too tight and too disgusting for television at 20 weeks pregnant.
"Instead of letting this bring her down, she fought the good fight and decided to turn the negative energy into positive by saying nice to as many people as possible and spread love," Union tweeted. "Plus, she continues to wear whatever feels good to her while on TV!"

Laura is just one of two reporters Gabrielle Union has shown support for over the last month. Back in November, Demetria Obilor, an anchor for ABC Dallas, was criticized by a viewer for her outfit choice and Union praised her on Instagram.
Sending love, light and support to Dallas News Anchor Demetria Obilor who was recently body shamed online. YOU are the real life Mary Jane… A go-getter news anchor who dresses DOPE and doesn’t give a s*** what everyone else thinks. Keep on kicking ass and taking names queen. We love you just the way you are! And since you slay everything you wear, I’m sending you a bunch of pieces from my @nyandcompany collection and some credit for extra pieces!

She also sent her a few things from her collection and the Dallas anchor posted one of Union's dresses, thanking her for the support and "feeling like Miss Mary Jane."
MANY thanks to @gabunion and her team for coming through with the beautiful dresses from the Gabrielle Union for @nyandcompany collection! Feeling like Miss Mary Jane herself! 😍thank you so much! 💋
