Summer may be fast food nation sylvia & mike sex scene videocoming to an end, but Prime Video is doing its best to keep the season of adventure going.

From gigantic journeys like Godzilla (2014) to smaller sagas like A Simple Favor, the streaming service is offering up a number of choice movies this August. Of course, they're saving the most sought-after flicks for rent or purchase.

Throughout the month, Avengers: Endgame, The Souvenir, and Pokémon Detective Pikachu – two of which made our mid-year best of 2019 films list, and the third of which is freakin' Pikachu in a hat– all become available through Prime Video. If you missed them in theaters or need to enjoy them just one more time, now's your chance!

Top Pick: Sucker Punch (2011)

Zack Snyder's "psychological fantasy action" film Sucker Punchwas not well-received when it first hit theaters in 2011. But per Mashable reporter Adam Rosenberg's request, we gave it another try. And honestly? It slaps.

"Fundamentally, Sucker Punchis a story about escape," writes Rosenberg. "From our demons, and a past that haunts us. From real physical threats. From the ceaseless noise of an active yet fractured mind. Most importantly, from a society that shuns one group or another as less than equal."

"It's a hell of a thing to watch Sucker Punch[now], a time when so many of the tough topics Snyder set out to address are squarely in the public eye," Rosenberg adds. "It's not a better movie now (I still maintain it was never bad), but watching it again with fresh eyes, it's easier to see the story's strengths shining through."

More than Emily Browning in a schoolgirl outfit, this before-its-time treasure is indeed worth a revisit.

Sucker Punch begins streaming on Prime Video 8/31.
