The secretive project has reportedly been delayed several times due to technical and supply chain constraints. But Apple insiders like Ming-Chi Kuo and Bloomberg's Mark Gurman believe that WWDC23 might finally be the moment Apple's XR headset takes center stage.
Reality Pro is rumored to be a high-end device, costing upwards of $3,000, with over 10 cameras, an M2 chip, and advanced hand and eye-tracking for performing tasks without handsets. At WWDC23, Apple will likely present the headset's operating system, reportedly called xrOS.
The potential for Apple to unveil Reality Pro makes this year's WWDC one of the most hyped in recent memory. But we've been burned before by underwhelming events that Craig Federighi and his tracksuits carried on his back. Whatever happens, mark your calendars.
