The world watched Sunday as French voters went to the polls in a presidential run-off election yesterday, with centrist Emmanuel Macron facing off against far-right candidate Marine Le Pen. When the dust settled, Macron had handily bested Le Pen before giving his victory speech at the Louvre.

It is a known symbol within Freemasonry (which conspiracy theorists associate with the Illuminati). Some explain the group as responsible for the great seal on the back of the $1 bill.
The fact that Macron celebrated his victory in front of a pyramid gave conspiracy theorists and online jokers all the ammunition they needed to connect the imaginary dots.
