It's here,талды-курганский порнографии folks. All across the globe, parents, teachers, and managers will be despairing as their brief, black hole-based Fortnitefreedom comes to an abrupt end.
Early on Tuesday, after being offline for over a day, Fortnitehas returned — and Chapter 2 brings with it a whole heap of new features and things to explore.
Here's what we know so far...
This is the big one. Obviously the Fortnitemap has been tweaked and updated with new POIs a bunch of times since the game launched, but Chapter 2 marks the first time that the whole thinghas been reinvented.
SEE ALSO: 'Fortnite' Chapter 2 trailer is here and it looks every bit as epic as we'd hopedThe days of Loot Lake and Greasy Grove are over — now it's all about Weeping Woods, Dirty Docks, and Craggy Cliffs.
When you start playing Chapter 2 the new POIs are all greyed out, but you uncover them as you explore the map.
Epic Games has clearly piled a fair bit of effort into everything water-based with this new chapter. Not only does the water looka lot more realistic now, but you can also grab a rod and go fishing in it. Catches include everything from weapons to actual fish, which sit in an item slot until you consume them for sweet, sweet health.
Instead of walking through water, you can now swim in it like an actual dolphin. Obviously you're pretty vulnerable when you're bouncing around salmon-style, but at least it speeds you up a bit.
Remember the gleeful excitement of being able to drive golf buggies? Well, now you can hop in a motorboat.
From the looks of things, the boats operate in a similar way to how the buggies did — one person drives, while your teammates hop in the back and fire at enemies.
If you're playing with squads, you can now sling your downed teammates over your shoulders to carry them heroically to safety. Better yet, you can also carry downed enemyteammates — and, even better still, you can throw them.
Got some extra materials weighing you down? If you find one of the new weapon upgrade benches, you can trade some in for a better gun.
Remember the early days of Fortnite, when sneaky players used to camp out from danger in bushes? Well, those days are back — only instead of bushes, you can now opt to hide from mean enemies in handy haystacks and dumpsters.
Fortnite Chapter 2 just landed, so we'll drop any other notable new features here as they pop up.
